The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly truth
Yesterday I had some extra time to play during the day… and decided to work on the Druid and find him some nice gear. So after doing the JC dailies on the Hunter and the DK I went my way into LFG with the Druid… the first one was, the very well hated Occulus.
To my surprise we only needed to replace 1 player from the very first 2 seconds… and 2 more after a wipe caused by someone agroing 1 million drakes. In the end, we needed two attempts to finally bring down Ley-Guardian Erigos. The outcome: both the achievements (regular and heroic) and some really nice Ring and a Off-Hand for my resto gear. Then, I got into Halls of Lightning… The first instance in Northrend I saw thanks to the guys @ Project Lore when it was still in beta. There I got a Trinket in a very smooth run, but I had to stop for some time because the baby woke up and was asking for some serious amount of milk.
In the night it was time for my Hunter to “get some”. After some words with my guildies I joined the LFG to get a shot in PoS (again) and try to get my xBow. A few minutes went by and the screen was announcing what I was waiting for: a PuG was formed and ready to go, and I was decided to do my personal best to get it… here is the recounts of the whole ordeal:
From the very beginning I was the most decent hunter you can find in WoW… greeting everyone and preparing a Fish Feast so my party would only think good things about me. I was out dpsing eeeeeveryone and I couldn’t believe it since my gear wasn’t any better than the Mage and all three Paladins in the group.
I was Misdirecting, Kiting Mobs, Chain Traping and poping Repair bots after each of the four wipes we had. When we got to the second boss, the one that has my Cross Bow (yes, I consider it MINE), I even managed to kite the boss for a full minute to the end with just 450hp in my bar and the three paladins facing the floor… using, of course, my Gnomish Army Knife to rez one of them. I simply did it all… I was a full, long run, high dps, friendly hunter who just wanted one little thing and Elune decided not to give it up this time… instead I got a palm on the back and a very good “till next time”.
As far as my DK… he didn’t saw any action… I was mentally beaten after the PoS episode.
So, there you have it:
- The Good: with the Druid it all went smooth
- The Bad: do I have to tell you again how it went with the hunter?
- and The Ugly truth: Elune does what she wants with her children.
Let us know if you ever had a day in WoW where things got far from what you would like them to be.

EDIT: Very IMPORTANT Update!!! The Xbow just droped!!!!!!!!!!! Now I’m having a terrible Hit problem: I have tooooo much!
I have to work my way to get a bunch of emblems to replace my helm and chest so my hit can get back to normal because with the Mark of Supremacy trinket and the Xbow I now have 322 hit rating…. and that is a pure waste.
Nite all
